As a few others have pointed out, this album has gotten me through the past few months with a calming and nurturing soundscape... looking forward to having the first 4 tracks on vinyl finally... wish I could hang out with everyone else who posted a comment about this album... muthubuntu
Take the shimmering guitars of the Cocteau Twins, dilate and lengthen with the wistfulness of Boards of Canada and release them like one of Robert Rich’s haunting soundscapes with a jazz coda and you have Carlo Giustini's 'Custodi'. It's brilliant. sepulchre19

Giustini's music has a quality I associate with exploring sound and locations within the Gloom or Limbo. Though not frightening like their cinematic portrayals, the music has a haunting quality. Sant'Angelo treads through cave-like formations populated with dripping stalactites, water-carved walkways, and the sound of slumbering leviathan's turning below. Reaching the surface, one discovers that hushed and pressurized feeling, akin to walking in open fields blanketed with freshly fallen snow. Lost Tribe Sound
